The Archive: Privacy & Discretion Policy
The Midnight Heaven trades in trust. We understand that the individuals in our cohort require absolute operational discretion. This policy outlines our compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA), ensuring your data remains in the shadows.
1. Data Acquisition & Purpose Limitation
We collect only the data strictly necessary to execute our vetting protocols, secure event logistics, and maintain the safety of our community. This includes your submitted credentials, contact protocols, and basic demographic indicators. This data is utilized exclusively for curation, matching, and security.
2. The Perimeter of Confidentiality
Your personal data will never be sold, leased, or placed on the public grid. We do not use third-party marketing trackers or public advertising pixels on our internal registries. Access to the Founding Registry and vetting data is restricted to core operational personnel under strict non-disclosure agreements.
3. Identity Shielding at Events
Any data provided during the vetting phase is decoupled from your physical presence at our events. Your professional and public identity will not be disclosed to other attendees by our staff, preserving the integrity of the masked environment.
4. Exceptions for Legal Compliance
While we fiercely protect your privacy against public or commercial exposure, The Midnight Heaven is not a sanctuary from the law. We reserve the right to access, preserve, and disclose your verified information if legally compelled to do so by an Indian court order, government mandate, or to protect the physical safety of our attendees and staff.
5. Data Retention & Erasure
Data belonging to unapproved applicants is purged from our primary servers post-vetting. Approved cohort data is retained securely as long as you maintain an active standing in the community. You retain the right to request the deletion of your digital footprint from our servers by contacting our correspondence team, subject to standard legal retention requirements.
